Terms and Conditions - SOUTH EAST PROPERTY SCANS

1. Definitions

“The Company” shall refer to South East Property Scans.
“The Client” shall refer to the person or entity booking the services.
“Digital Assets” shall refer to all photographs, videos, floor plans, and other digital materials created by the Company.

2. Booking and Payment

2.1. Booking Fee: A non-refundable booking fee of £200 is required to secure the project booking date(s). For projects with a total quote of less than £200, the full project amount is required as the booking fee.
2.2. Interim Payment: A further payment totaling 50% of the remaining project balance is due no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled site visit. Work will not commence on-site until this payment has been received.
2.3. Final Payment: The final outstanding balance is due upon delivery of the final digital assets. Payment must be made within 7 calendar days of delivery. Digital assets will not be released from watermarking or delivered in full resolution until the final payment has been received.

3. Cancellations and Postponements

3.1. Cancellation by the Client: In the event of a cancellation by the client, the non-refundable booking fee of £200 will be forfeit. Rescheduling a new date will require a new booking and a new booking fee.
3.2. Cancellation by the Company: In the event that weather-dependent services (such as aerial drone work) must be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, the Company will work with the Client to reschedule the affected services for the next available date at no additional charge.
3.3. Postponement by the Client: The Client may postpone a scheduled booking on one occasion at no additional cost, provided that a minimum of 14 days’ written notice is given prior to the scheduled date. If notice of postponement is given with less than 14 days remaining, the booking fee will be forfeit.

4. Image Licensing and Usage

4.1. Copyright Ownership: South East Property Scans retains full and permanent copyright ownership of all Digital Assets created.
4.2. Client License: Upon full payment of the final invoice, the Client is granted a non-transferable license to use the delivered Digital Assets for the sole purpose of marketing the specific property for which they were created.
4.3. Promotional Use by the Company: South East Property Scans reserves the right to use any Digital Assets for its own promotional and marketing purposes, including on our website, social media, and in printed materials.

5. On-Site Requirements

The Client is responsible for ensuring the property is clean, tidy, and ready for photography at the arranged time. The Company is not responsible for any cleaning, tidying, or home staging.

6. Editing and Adjustments

One round of minor adjustments to the delivered Digital Assets is included in the quoted price. Any substantial re-edits or stylistic changes requested after delivery will be subject to an additional fee.

7. Governing Law

This agreement and any dispute arising from it shall be governed in all respects by the laws of England and Wales.
